I've just moved into a new unit with a very large yard and have a bit of space available if anyone is looking.
It's a large unit with 3 phase electric and water. It's not the most glamorous unit, the floor is solid but i has been ply lined and it is pretty grotty in places, if you wanted to take it up and put something else down it wouldn't be a problem. It is very secure though, a chap lives on site with two dogs. It has a large gate to get into the yard with 24hr access, it's well out of the way and there's no trouble down there. The yard is massive but we are still in the process of clearing it out at the moment. Also very secure, it will have electric and there is a shipping container to use as a workshop.
I have just under half the unit, a friend is renting a small bay (he's a good bloke) and there is another space available. It is divided into bays so you would have your own space, I also have some large mesh panels if you wanted to gate it off. The area outside the bay's will be kept clear for manoeuvring cars but there will be a workbench for everyone to use. The door is only 2.2m wide so please bare that in mind if you work on large vehicles.
The available bay is 4.6m wide x 4.8m deep, just about room to park two cars or easily work on one. The bay will include a bit of space in the yard to store a couple of cars if required. We both race bangers at the moment and I have a couple of other projects, please don't let the bangers put you off, I'm very tidy and so is the other lad. I've just left a unit I was sharing with a thieving scum bag so I've been on the receiving end and wouldn't subject anyone else to that.
The price will be £150pcm, this includes bills as long as you don't use massive amounts of power. If you will be using a lot we can put a meter in or sort something out. This also includes yard space for two cars, if you need more we can sort something out. You will have a key to the main gate, the yard and the unit.
If you just require a bit of yard space with access to the shipping container/workshop that will be £50 pm for a double car space, I won't be able to give you your own key though so access will,be limited to when a key holder is present.
