Mot till March-ish 2016
Need gone ASAP, so £250 or highest offer over scrap this weekend gets it. On eBay here
Bought this car about 3 years ago as a temporary daily while my other car was off the road, but then ended up being the wife's car when her old one died. Was previously an old dear's car which is where most of the car park scrapes come from (they're practically everywhere). Haven't bothered tidying any of them up, so there's some surface rust in a few places, including the sills, but to my knowledge it's never been welded and there were no advisories for welding on the last MOT.
So, although it's got a decent amount of MOT on it, it's been running really rough recently, keeps stalling in traffic and generally doesn't sound great. I don't really have the skills or time to sort it, and it's not really worth throwing money at it for a garage fix. Might be a simple fix for someone handy, might not be, I honestly don't know.
Aside from that, the gearbox has been a bit noisy and the clutch has been a bit stiff for as long as we've had it, but neither seem to have gotten any worse.
If you're relatively local, you should have no trouble driving her home (although it might stall). Would make a nice cheap rat project as it's basically an old Polo.
Anyway, here's some pics, feel free to ask for more pictures/details, but it's pretty much what you'd expect a £250 MOTed car to be like.
If it's not sold by the end of the week (at the latest), it will be taking it's last journey to the scrap man.
