Anyone interested in a pretty much MINT Rover 100? Its a 1.1 Kensington (or Knightsbridge...I'll confirm later lol) with a GENUINE 23k miles from new. It was a demo, then just 1 owner from 6mths old up until June 2015. There is not a mark on this car (other than a small repaired chip in the front screen) No rust, no dents, no scratches.....absolutely SPOTLESS. Its in metallic blue with unmarked cloth interior and original Philips radio cassette and keyfob immobiliser. All wheel trims are unmarked and all tyres are like new. Drives better than many 'modern' cars with a sweet engine and gearbox and smooth suspension. I'll get some decent picks up later, but anyone interested, message me or reply to thread. Looking for £700, but I'm open to sensible offers or even swaps for Volvo 740 bits and bobs. Cheers

I'd be very interested in this at asking price provided it's as described. Could you put pics up or email me them? If you pm me I'll give you my email.
Regards
Andy.

Hi Andy I'm at work today until 4pm, but as soon as I get home I'll untuck it from the garage and get some pics. As mentioned, it is pretty much mint, other than a previously repaired chip in the screen. I haven't cleaned under the bonnet, as I'm always a bit worried about water in the electrics, but its got no oil leaks at all, just 18yrs worth of road grime as you'd expect. Head gasket is fine, with no oil in the water or vice versa. Theres 2 keys, 2 fobs and even the original Rover tag explaining how to use the immobiliser. Without checking, I cant recall how much service history there is, but knowing how painfully fussy the previous owner was, I'd imagine its been over-serviced if anything! Its had rubber mats in it from new, so the carpet is like the day it was delivered. I acquired it with the intention of keeping it garaged and doing a few shows, but My wife doesn't share my Rover enthusiasm and is making me choose between this and my 1988 Volvo 740 estate, which I love, so the Rovers got to go! I'll PM you when Ive got the pictures, then email them over to you. Whereabouts are you based? Cheers Sean

Just checked the log book and can confirm its a KNIGHTSBRIDGE model. The colour is (I think) TAHITI BLUE. Its 3 door and has MOT til 22nd April 2016. Had 2 advisories on the MOT as follows:
001 Rear Exhaust has a minor leak [7.1.2]
002 Rear Service/Parking Brake efficiency. It would appear that the braking system requires adjustment and/or repair [3.7.B.7]
