I've had this 5 Series for about 7 months now, bought it to save the legs on my E28. Although it has done a mega job and never (and I honestly mean NEVER) let me down it just isn't for me. In my opinion it's not the most pretty of shapes.
The good.
PAS
Electric sunroof
Aircon (could do with regas)
Genuine //M mats
Front fogs
Classic insurance
Superb motor and box (apparently sought after inlet engine?) pulls very well with no nasty noises or taps. Surprisingly quick for the size of the thing.
Limited slip differential
The interior is well.. Wow! Black plastics and carpet and the seats have been retrimmed (recently I think) in cream leather. Looks the business I think.
It's black and has a spoiler what more do you want?
The bad.
Drivers interior door handle is inop at the moment but have sourced another and will fit before sale.
Clutch pedal high, has been like this ever since I've had it not caused me any problems but worth noting.
One of the rear inner lamps (on boot lid) has a small hole in it. Covered this up with and inch of insulation tape but can be sourced on eBay for a few quid.
It's due a service. I think it's just an oil and filter change that's due but I've got a full service kit so it'll be done before sale or can include the parts if you want to do it.
Could do with a tyre on offside rear.
The digital screen on the clocks sometimes behaves other times it looks like the car is enjoying a game of Tetris! Doesn't bother me but might you?
The ugly.
The paintwork needs a bloody good polish / buff. I think it's been pushed through car washes most of its life so has small scratches all over the body the ones that jump in your face when the sun is out. Small marks (paint chips / flakes and scuffs) here and there but nothing excessive.
There's a patch of corrosion around the fuel filler flap, the only rust on the car I think! It's not horrendous but worth noting.
Both the chrome grille surrounds are missing on the front.
Interior weather strip has singes on it where a previous owner hasn't been very good at getting his hamlet aimed out of the window before flicking ash. (I don't smoke so it smells ok now!)
I'd take cash but I'm willing to consider any sort of deal, especially a Volvo... Don't know why? Just fancy one. Has to be manual though unless you can swoon me.
Pictures. Not the best I apologise but, I can get more. Even better come and have a look.

Here's the rust around the fuel flap.
And a vid so you can hear it running, it's spot on.
