Up for sale is my Scim, simply because I couldn't find insurance for less than £4000 so it's pointless keeping it.
The good bits:
12 months MOT
The chassis is excellent
Good paint (more info below)
Tidy interior
Steel timing gear fitted
Uprated cooling system with new water pump, uprated radiator, a modern cooling fan and an expansion tank
Full stainless steel exhaust system with tubular manifolds
New polyurethane wishbone bushes and new bolts
New track rod ends and steering gaiters
New ball joints
New brake pads, shoes, rear cylinders and adjusters
New shocks all round (Gaz adjustables on the rear)
New number plates
Both engine and gearbox have had fluid and filter changes
Every electrical thing works
It drives brilliantly. It was driven from Dover to Cheshire perfectly and coped with the traffic no problem
The not so good points:
The carpets could do with replacing to make the interior really good. The tailored overmats do the job though
It doesn't have electric windows
The battery won't start the car if left for more than a week
Here's the project thread which highlights most of the work I've done to it

Regards the paint, it is both good and bad. There really is zero bubbling on the car. It is factory paint and I've never seen one as good as this. Even some cars that have been sprayed in the last ten years have more bubbles. There aren't many stress cracks either compared to a lot of 6as. The not so good is that someone has touched up a few bits previously and the paint used is not the same colour as the original paint. It doesn't scream out at you, but it is noticeable. It's a 5-10 pace car. I got some more paint mixed myself which is included.
In summary, this is an ideal daily driver. It's been totally reliable and it won't embarrass itself at shows if you took it.
I'm going to give it a proper wash and polish tomorrow but for now, you can see the photos in the project thread.
