Hi,
I've recently encountered an unexpected problem after fitting 2 new headlights in my 2005 C15....
Reusing the perfectly good bulbs fitted into the old headlights was not to be, as the base plate on the bulb is not compatible with the cupping aperture on the new lights. So, consulting the available info about the new headlights I purchased from Europarts online, I see the type of bulb required for the new lights described as "R2 Bilux". I'm not sure if the "R2" part of this type of bulb refers to the securing design, or the type of light that's emitted from the bulb element/design.
I can't find much in the way of R2 info/bulbs online in the UK, so I'm guessing it's more of a European type bulb/fitting?
Has anyone resolved such an issue?
I'd appreciate your thoughts & comments
