Right, my Jeep is up for sale (I've bought a Discovery V8)
It's 1998 on an S plate, done around 106k miles (might be a few k either way, I'll get an exact figure next time I go out). Runs on a single point LPG system with an underslung LPG tank (holds 60 litres - gives a range of 150ish miles round town, up to 200 on a steady run) and smaller petrol tank.
Bad Points
Little bit of corrosion towards the rear of the sills, I haven't poked it, but I suspect it would need attention before the next MOT.
Air con doesn't work.
Cruise control doesn't work.
Must have had a replacement bumper cap at some point as the paint is peeling and it's the wrong colour
Various green-laning related scratches and a couple of supermarket dents around it.
LPG gauge isn't connected. They are wibblepoo though, so I never bothered...
Good Points
MOT until 2nd January
Good tyres on alloy wheels
Had new lower rad hose, radiator, radiator cap, thermostat, water pump and head gasket a few months ago. (The reason being that the lower rad hose blew, it overheated and popped the HG, all were replaced by me and it's been perfectly fine ever since).
Good rear springs that don't sag (Taking measurements from centre of wheel to arch, according to various websites, they seem to give it around a 2" lift at the back. Front seems to be standard height)
CD player (and I'll include the original stereo too, should you wish to revert back).
All new front UJs and balljoints when I first got it on the road (Jan 2013)
Interior in good condition, no rips or tears to the seats or anything.
There we have it, it's a good little Jeep, no major faults that I'm aware of and will make a good vehicle for someone. I'm asking £500, no offers as it's worth that to me and I'll either break it or keep it for when the Disco breaks down!
