Been thinking about making my own air ride kit
I run a air compressor company, so have a wide range of pneumatic fittings/tanks/valves etc
The thing that's tripping me up is the struts.
Seen the universal bags on eBay, anymore used then? Is it just a case of making upper and lower plates to hold them to the strut?
They still seem quite expensive too, unless anyone can suggest a cheap supply.
Any help appreciated

aerosport are the best you can get when it comes to strut bags. twinwall so they don't leak like all the single wall ones do. yes they're quite expensive, but they're worth it.

Cheers, mark said you've made some of your own.
It'll be for a k10 micra, which will use polo 6n coilovers. Which I don't have yet.
How do you attach it to the strut? I've seen the plates that come with it, I'd imagine you attach the bottom plate to the spring height adjusters
Does the strut have to be snug to the inside sleeve of the bag?

You've pretty much got it right - you can buy the plates to adapt them to fit coilovers. Inside the bag is mostly tube, don't worry about that if it fits over the strut.
Make sure you've plenty of room in the strut tower - I tried some Uvair Aerosport bags on my lupo and they bound solid all round - needed another inch of room or so.

I've been trying to find some factory fitted air suspension I might try mod to fit my struts
Best ones I've seen are the Audi A6 all roads, look like the bag over strut type I'm after
Anyone had any experience with these, what issues to look out for
