Guys, what experience do you have with the cheap ebay coilovers? Are they all the same and just branded differently?
How do they feel when fitted? I need to replace the springs on my e36 323i and figure these could be a cheap solution. Let me know your experiences please. Cheers, Daz.

I have used these style of coilover in the past because they appeared to be value, however cheap coilovers are cheap for a reason. The ride is usually just made horrendous and they don't last well. If your going non oe spec consider a springs and shocks kit. Better still replace with quality aftermarket standard rate springs.
Its really about whether you are bothered about ride quality. I've learned that on a budget having fresh springs and /or shocks and polybushing gives best results without loss of ride comfort, however I am old so you might not mind having your spine battered every time you hit the smallest of road irregularities.
Qulity coilovers are a different matter but usually start at around £100 a corner for fixed rate ones. Just my experience I'm sure others will have a different experience.
