Seen a few of these creep up on the forum in the past while... its really the first time I have paid any attention to them.
What is there to know about them? What is there to look out for? Kind of fancying one as a wee run around.
Looks quite a fun car, probably be one of the poverty spec ones if I did decide to go for one...

I had one as my second car ever. It was the 75 bhp one i think, just a 1.2 or 1.4, cant remember. To me it was just a hack, a little hatchback i used to go to work and back. It never really excited me. Although, i will never forget it as i used it to tow a full size car trailer with van over 50 miles. Amazingly the engine and clutch managed to make it the whole way without fault, even climbing a steep hill in 2nd gear for about a 3/4 of a mile.   Oh yeah, and i remember i had it around the time of the really bad winter a few years back. The skinny stock tyres and FWD made it pretty impossible to get stuck, even uphill. I was overtaking stuck cars on narrow roads and everything. |

Real simple to work on and pretty cheap to run/maintain. Had many, will have more.

I had a '98 60S (1.2) for a while, nice revvy little engine, quite spacious inside for a small hatch.....Usual Italian quality I found, overall not a bad little daily hack.
