My much loved Cinquecento has to go, after over three years of being off road been welded and a part restoration I would like to sell it to fund a Fiat 126.
I have had her for 10 years and bought her on 41K miles. At 70K i have a 1242 8v engine fitted. The car is now on 132K but still starts and runs great.
The subframe and fuel tank was removed to allow welding to the chassis, boot floor and inner arches.
In the time off road it has had:
New fuel tank and filler neck (both common failures)
NS driveshaft oil seal
Both strut top mounts replaced
New lower wishbones with polybushes
New tie rods
New disc and pads
Rear subframe removed, stripped and painted.
Rear arms with polybushes
New shoes, drums and bearings
New clutch about 1k miles ago
New core plug behind flywheel (they can rust through!)
New headlamps
Near rear bumper brackets.
Its lowered 30mm on Apex shocks and springs
Has a set of 5 14" Mille Miglia Spiders, two with new tyres and three legal but low.
Bad points:
I've lost the locking wheel nut key but removers are included in the sale.
The lower flywheel cover came off but I have one spare to fit
The welds in the boot need painting as they only have primer, paint included.
There is a knocking coming from the passenger front wheel, its not a bearing as that's good. I think it may be from the spring hitting the top mount as its only at low speeds.
Reverse gear inhibitor cable stretched so you how to pull it yourself but these can be removed.
Yellow lens rear lights not included
More photos to follow.
