Picked this up in a deal with two other cars, had no real use for it but kinda fell for its cuteness. Unfortunately the escort I bought with this is a lot worse than first thought and I can't justify having two full resto's on the go at the same time so this has to go.
It's a caledonian (details of this model can be found here www.impcaledonian.co.uk/), it still seems to have all of its caledonian extras, it also seems to be complete and pretty much original. That's about where the good points stop.
It has been parked up since the early 90's and needs a full resto. Unfortunately the spark plugs were removed at some point and now the engine is seized. Sills, rear arches, bottom of rear quarters, and part of the rear end of the floor pan would need cutting out and repairing. Other parts need work but could be saved (boot lid for example), other bits ain't too bad really.
I had no idea what this was worth so asked on the imp pages on facebook and was advised by two people that it would be worth roughly between £700-£1000, I have no idea how accurate that is and know that something is only worth what someone is willing to pay. So I'm putting an asking price of £800 but I am open to offers
