89 mk1 non facelift 5dr vauxhall nova 1.2 merit
Mot til end of june
I'm near Wells Somerset (ba5 area)
Miles say 80k, ive owned it 18 months and saved it from the breakers with 66k on it, and have used it as a daily (50 miles a day) since then.
I have no service history to back it up apart from mot history back to 40k with consecutive low yearly miles til i had it.
These 4 speed, small engine town cars never rack up big miles so i presume its right.
Engine is sweet and not cammy or smokey
Gearbox is good though diff whines a bit at motorway speeds
Body is red with door bottoms painted black, has kept most rust out bar some in passenger door
Front wings are beginning to perforate on the top but somebody artful might save them, there is a hole coming through at the tip of d/s/f wing.... Paint is original but needs a tcut
Some grot in passenger rear arch
Had welding done in rear arches and spring cups for last mot
Interior is unripped but grubby due to being a daily work car
Rear tailgate strut is knackered
Drives ok and gives 40mpg all day long
Would prefer a swap for a 6n polo or early clio (prefer 1.4) but any small, sub 1.4 hatch with a ticket considered
Otherwise 200
It needs tlc but is priced to reflect that
