Luckily (or unluckily?) The bleed nipple was lose by quarter a turn - the side my bother in law sorted, cheers dude! Sorted the door cards today, got this material from eBay, I'm sure it's for kids curtains, but I like it anyway! ![](http://i1027.photobucket.com/albums/y331/tolk_1983/IMAG0159_zpskorhzllj.jpg) ![](http://i1027.photobucket.com/albums/y331/tolk_1983/IMAG0160_zpsvlgn8uyn.jpg) ![](http://i1027.photobucket.com/albums/y331/tolk_1983/IMAG0181_zpsjlhuchmu.jpg) Door handle cover is off to be sprayed, to match the rest in black. Think I'll leave the door bins off and get some new speakers and mount them under the back seat instead of putting the old ones back on the door cards.

For now just some cruising around in the nice weather, then probably some silly engine mod like a turbo. We've got a spare 1275 engine so may well transplant that during the winter. Other than that just a maniflow exhaust system.

You already got the maniflow or getting? I've been looking at getting one for mine but not sure yet.

I will be buying after payday. Had one on the mini, good quality and helped performance. Sounds ace too!

Which option you going for? I want one but not sure how loud it would make the car. I live in quite a built up area and work shift so wouldn't want to curse word my neighbours off too much going to work at 5:00am!

I'd be going for the 1 & 3/4" single silencer. The size is optimum for the a series, and the single box gives it a nice burble. But if you're worried about waking people up get the double box system. It's still going to be louder than standard, but it'll be the quietest option for you.

Exhaust is on order, 20miles of trouble free motoring, and the front silencer on the old exhaust developed a massive hole! Not a great deal of progress, other than replacing the bottom rad hose and fitting a new fan belt.

Updates required when it arrives and fitted! I've decided mine is gonna have a brake upgrade before I get the maniflow.

Will do. What are you doing to the brakes? A good bleed and new pads and I found there's a decent amount of power.

Those door cards look the biz!
Did you remove the old material or just re-wrap what was already on there? The door cards on my mini are looking a little tired, and dull, this is a great idea to introduce some personality

Those door cards are great! Love the look of the 12" minilights as well.

Cheers Sam & Qwerty.
Sam: literally stretched the fabric over the existing, and gaffa taped them on the back. Was simple to do!
