Up for very relucatant sale is my Cinquecento Sporting.
MOT until Mid March 2016 - there were no advisories and the tester commented on how clean it was (well, 1 advisory for 'non standard exhaust fitted')
Tax NLA but obviously cheap band!
Mileage has just ticked over 100,000.
Have owned and dailied this car for a year and it has never onced faltered, so reliable!
Build thread is here and shows most of the work done...

The low down, this is a 1 off!
Imola Blue (the best colour IMO)
1242cc Punto 60 engine conversion with a enclosed carbon intake, magnecor leads, NGK plugs and a cat back exhaust system - it will also come with a new 4-2-1 stainless manifold, an 866 cam and a new custom made 40mm throttle body and custom larger intake bob which should give between 80 and 90 bhp! It has had a new radiator and thermostat, and also comes with a new cam cover gasket as like all of these it weeps slightly, but was planning to do it along with the cam. Also had a new alternator and belt.
Uses no oil or water, runs really sweetly.
Passed emissions on MoT with no funny business!
Larger Fiat bravo front discs and calipers fitted.
Rear brakes cleaned and adjusted, awful handbrake but as good as they get on a Cinq!
A set of rare Maserati Bi-Turbo alloys with nearly new 195/45/14 Rainsport 2's sit on each corner, made even rarer by being the wider of the 2 sizes Maserati made! Stud and nut conversion all round.
Shortened FK gas shocks and lowering springs, Sparco strut brace - this thing is unstickable!
Fully aligned.
Fuel filler hose replaced (common problem on these)
Interior wise, well, there isn't much. A composite bucket seat with 3 point harness and standard passenger seat. Lowered steering column, window net, nice suede wheel. No stereo just a blank (you couldn't hear it!) Nice japanese style 'broadway' (wide angle) rear view mirror too.
Bodily, well, best see the build thread...
Basically spaced front wings with the lip removed, lifted bonnet, flared and rolled rear arches, quick release rear bumper - will come with a ducktail to make fit...
All arches were tickled a few months back, at the same time everything was cleaned, checked and undersealed, there was no rust, not a speck, the galvanising on these is excellent!
That being said although it polishes up really nicely for a picture, there isn't a straight panel on it, nothing awful, but just age related dings and a bit of paint fade here and there, just being honest.
Will come with a lot of spares, mirrors, lights, belts, steering column, and the unfitted parts mentioned...too much to list.
So in summary - a clean, well set up Cinq with all the hard work done and scope for more (bolt on, supplied) power and a lot of fun.
Bad points:
People will keep asking what it is!
1 headlamp has a small crack in the lens (you cant see it due to the fly eyes film) but it comes with like 3 spare lamps anyway.
n/s/r arch has 1 small blemish from being rolled, and the paint has a slight ridge on it, but I can get this sorted if it's an issue (it kinda has to be pointed out to be noticed)
The engine was swapped by the previous owner but it still says 1108cc on the V5.
Reason for Sale:
You can daily drive this car, but it isn't really the ideal commuter / shopping trip car / able to pick up your mates/take the kids out etc, it really needs to be a second car...I only get to enjoy maybe 1 in 20 journeys in it, not through any fault of the car, I just sit in traffic!
I have also got back into oval racing and need to lug wheels and tools around so again, need a bigger car, and it kinda gets the fast driving out of my system anyway without any risk to my license!
Really don't want to get rid but have nowhere to keep 2 cars without having them both taxed and insured and I can't afford that.
I have put it up for what I want for it, not some silly figure to get knocked down on, if it doesn't sell I'll somehow tuck it away and make it madder! This could be parted out for double the price easily...I hate to even add up what I have put into it...
Would like it to go to a good home, and be enjoyed and shown!
Available from start of June.
I'll take a holding deposit etc from anyone serious.
Don't need swaps or exchanges, new daily is sorted.
Cheers, Mike.
