Is it just me or is that cambelt clearly off the cam in that picture with no locking tool in the end of the cam as the cover is still bolted on?
Also where does the 250bhp idea come from with no internal mods? The 1z isnt the strongest bottom end in the world. The Afn was the one with stronger bottom end , and the one that people tune to arond 200bhp.

Yeah the cambelts off. The turbo alone will see you to 200 without supporting mods, it's only an estimate, but isn't unrealistic. I learnt the hardway, the original lump I used went pop within 1000 miles of driving. Had a spare 1z block waiting so might aswell.
