Is there such a thing?
I feel that the front of mine would benefit from a little bit of a beard but not sure if any models came with one as standard or if it's something I will have to bodge on from another model...

What about an SRI one?

There is the early snow plough splitter as shown in my pic on the left and then there is the later splitter from the SRi, CD, etc. There was a few aftermarket splitters but you would be lucky to find one.

I'm not sure if it's the case in this particular thread, but I've found a lot of (mostly younger) people have started to use the word 'splitter' in place of 'spoiler'. I've always thought this was a splitter: A horizontal blade/plate mounted under a bumper (or spoiler) ...and these are spoilers:

Sorry for being young... Haha.
Would the sri ones have to attach to a plastic bumper that covers the entirity of the front of the car? As i only have standard bumpers I am only looking for a rubber or other strip to mount under the front valance via some means.
May have to bodge something together.

I recall them sometimes being called 'Air Dams' back in the day. [Gets coat]

its possible to attach the front lower rubber section from a laguna/espace bumper if you can find one, to the front air dam/valance covers on the mk2's there are at least three different types to choose from if yours hasnt got one fitted.

I had a mk2 Sri, back in the day, it had a broad plastic spoiler under the front bumper, then a slim black strip under that. It still handled like a wheelbarrow, but that's another story.

SRI one fits to the front valance iirc.

Ah cheers, but not what I'm after... I just want a small rubber strip that fits under the front valance.
Found some 'universal' strips on eBay that look promising.

Is this what you mean? That lower trim was standard fit so yours may have been lost. I don't have one spare but if you try on mk2cav.com someone will probably be able to send you one.

The problem with a Laguna type splitter is they were a bumper extension, wont it look abit odd fitted to the valance?
