Up for sale is a super 1992 Mercedes 190e Auto 2.0 petrol in the best colour Black. Kitted out in full Carat Duchatelet body kit,sports uprated and lowered suspension and 16" Carat alloys. Ive owned this 190e since last year and has never let me down starts on the button hot or cold. It has the following specs. Colour Black-199 black pearl (Blauschwarz) 143k 4 months mot. Full Carat body kit fitted from new . Great set of Carat alloys in the rare 16", fitted with newish Goodyear efficient grip 205/50/16 87w. The interior is in great shape no rips to the seats . Drives great the auto box does its job up and down just as it should with S and E modes. Brakes are good new front and rear pads and shoes. All electric windows, working! Tilt and slide sunroof. All 4 head rests. Cruise control. Some picture to keep you interested before i put in the bad bits!!   So on the faults/niggles ect. The cars diff can whine sometimes not overly loud, and is a common fault on 190s, most 190 owners just live with it. Some rust starting to show on the c pillar and roof ,due to a blocked sunroof drain pipe. that will need attention at some point. The car is getting on for 23 years old now so don't expect it to drive like a new car. It drives fine and is very very usable as a daily as i have been doing. Motorway driving is a nice experience as is town driving there is a slight steering wobble at around 65mph but soon disappears around 70mph the car will cruise all day at 80-90mph. The car will be available after the 1st may. Forgot to mention i still have the original amber side lights if you wish to reverse the clear lights.
Also it has cruise control, which works perfect.

Possibly mate, not sure maybe a worn ball joint.
Iam sure some of the steering parts are original and could do with a spruce up at some point in the future.
Its never bothered me i just drive through it, its from 65-68 ish and disappears above or below that speed.
Ive done several thousand motoway mile in it without fault.
Sits at the right temp.
Oil pressure is bob on.

All fresh fluids engine oil autobox diff brake fluids done around 18 months ago i was told when i collect the car,nothing to back this up though,but they all look clean and fresh. Cheers Chris |

I'm always kinda confused when cars this nice are not snapped up. It looks fantastic and to correct the defects wont cost fortunes, come on, this is manky Mondeo money and its a honey!! |
