I guess the old saying of "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" comes into play here, but worth asking. I know cars are worth what people are prepared to pay for them. But some of you who have an interest in Mk3 Ford Cortina's may have a better idea what this would be worth in the UK market. I want to buy this truck from a desert area. It comes with 2.5liter V6 engine, no rust visible and according to the seller, supposed to have 57k km on the clock, which I would guess Is 100k km or 60k miles short, so probably done 100k miles in real terms, then import it and add it into my garage with my Chevy C10. I had a 1982 1600cc model as a student and only have good memories. If it is as good as the seller says, not needing bodywork and capable of driving straight up to Edinburgh tomorrow, it means I could use it, but also sell it on and get my money back if I wanted to. These are so cool, RHD too. There was a post on Retroshite's FB page a few days ago about retros at an auction, one of which was a white one of these.   I asked which auction it was and what it went for but nobody has replied yet. Maybe FOAD will know, I think he's Mr Retroshite. |
