Hi everyone, the time has come to sell my e28 M535i auto. It has MOT till July and 134000 miles. The previous owner had it painted in BMW Midnight blue, which is an E39 colour and is a really dark blue, almost black and it suits it really well.
The first owner ticked lots of boxes on the options list- it has The "moon roof" (glass sunroof, not the more common steel panel) Aircon ( needs gassing up), cruise control (unfortunately the stalk has snapped off although a stalk is supplied), rear screen blind and even a factory sump guard! Oh yes, don't forget the cream leather sports seats!
The previous owner also fitted the 16" Hartge wheels and Avon rubber- the wheels are powder coated dark grey and the tyres have loads of tread!
The car drives well and has plenty of power and the switchable auto box makes good use of the 218 bhp. It's a proper drivers car that loves being thrown about and with the limited slip diff, it's great fun when you want it to be, while being a great cruiser when you don't!
Bodywork is nice and straight with no visible rust (I recently had a few scabs dealt with by Southam Bodies), although there are a few stonechips/ scratches as it is used regularly. Generally, it looks well and attracts regular positive attention.
So thats about it....a cool, relible, Iconic BMW that's only going up in value! I'm looking to get £4500 for the car and I reckon it's worth every penny! I'm only selling as I fancy a change of scene, but will be happy to hang onto it if needs be as it is a great car to drive! PM me for more details
