Hi all, I've decided to go in a different direction so now have rolling shell project up for sale.
The car is mostly complete aside from:
Engine
Gearbox
Exhaust
Headlining- although I may now have one for it
Boot plastics.
Pretty much everything else is there, and there are some extras not pictured) and in reasonable condition, the interior is ok and would clean up alright, normal wear and tear to drivers seat, and sun fading.
The v5 is present and in my name.
There are are a few areas of rust that need attention, namely the lower rear quarters and end of the o/s sill, that need welding up, although they're not that severe, the other area is the bootlid, ideally it needs replacing (I have the contact details somewhere for a chap that has good ones) but could be repaired if you're handy with a welder!
I've tried to cover these areas in the pictures.
It feel it would break for more, as the iron cross wheels are included and worth a fair bit on their own, but I think it'd be a shame.
Really it just needs a tickle with the welder, and either a 1uzfe 1/2jz or similar dropping in (these conversions have been well documented online)
A healthy drop of lowering and you're away.
Anyway, have some pictures.
It will come with the green bonnet in one of the pictures further down.
Anyway I'm sure I've missed something so feel free to ask any questions, no matter how small.
Cheers, Frank.
