Trabant 600cc 2 stroke Tested & Taxed.
It stinks, it smokes, it's loud infact am pretty sure its quicker to just walk to where your going but it Starts, Runs & Stops. The car's is proof you can not polish a turd but its "different" & makes you work for it when driving, people can hear you coming and just about see you leaving once the smoke has time to clear. Even fitted with a tow bar to pull out them nasty weeds growing threw the drive way.
Over the past 4/5months i have reconditioned or bought new...
New Carburetor " all new fuel lines, serviced cock pit & treated tank" will need fine tuning as new & on base settings.
New 2x igniton coils, leads & plugs.
New 2x Driveshafts, cogs & wheel bearings.
New brake pads, springs, screws & cylinders, all bleeded and stops on the penny.
New drive/fan belt.
The Trabi is fully original like it was back in its day bar the steel wheels being professionally banded with all new 175/55/13 and i have modified & adjusted the leaf springs to get it as low as it is. Please feel free to ask anything anytime & viewings more than welcome, the cars based in KENT.
