Won't be happening, although I will be requiring some stretch as after the 35mm drop, the rears are fouling the over fenders over bumps. Of course there might be a few choice stickers in the windows, possibly tyre painting and a new stainless steel system. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder after all No crazy engine swaps are in the pipeline either! The SSRs are front 14x6 +25, rear 14x6.5 +19 (PCD 114.3) - a the moment it's running (from memory) 15mm spacers on the front and 40mm on the rear I would love some head work, but funds are a tad limited at present after the work equips and new rubber too... Very nice Celica btw

That's a seriously cool car, man. I was so close to buying one last year (not a GSR though!), but ended up with another rotary that shat itself days after buying. Big regrets there! I'd still love one of these.
The new wheels are a great choice. What are the specs on those? The MK1s look a little weak on there. Looking forward to seeing this progress!

jayom, Cheers dude! Loving the FB, I did give some quite serious thought to one actually (especially after seeing the JDM Legends one, I have the Hotwheels version on my shelf ) Sorry to hear about your wankel lunching itself, your build thread's a good read! The Work Equips are 8.5 x 15 -9 front, 9.5 x 15 -22 rears, I really wanted 14s but the black polished face is 15" min. Still, they don't look a whole lot bigger when up against the SSRs. Test fit on Saturday to tweak the spacers, then tyres on Wednesday, I can't wait! I know *exactly* what you mean about the Mk 1s, my sentiments exactly!

Dude! Those wheels are the PERFECT choice. That is going to look absolutely mega! Are those flares stock on the GS-R? Thanks!! It's always a bit nerve wracking, spanking out so much on rims and not really knowing how they'll look! The fenders were an option as far as I know, mine aren't from factory but I think they're genuine as they have the flat lip to them. Sure someone can correct me

I had a guy in a Cayenne follow me for two miles on the way home this evening, when I pulled up he leapt out to ask me all about the car!

Bit of stretch, be grand Looks the job. Any ideas on tire size? I was a bit stuck for choice having the staggered fitment, but 205/50 rears (so yeah, a bit of stretch ) & 195/45 fronts, Toyo T1Rs

Nice to see early Mitsus, I have never seen one like this IRL since we didn't get them in Sweden.
