Hi all,
I am considering the sale of my excellent condition Evo 2.
The car has a set of Evo 3 skirts and spoiler fitted and the front aux lights are Cibbies with high/low beam, period correct rally mud flaps fitted and 16" OZ alloys, these could do with a refurb due to the White slightly yellowing. For the asking price I have 4 brand new Continental Conti Sport tyres to include.
The car is in great condition, especially for a 90's Japnesse car, the car was only imported to the UK in 2008 and seems it has spent most of its life in the dry. There is not rot anywhere underneath the shell and the only bit is a small patch on the boot lid under the spoiler foot, though this is only surface rust. Even the bottom of the doors are clean! I think this was a fully striped up rally replica show car whilst in Japan. The bumpers did have stickers on which have removed some of the lacquer but these are an easy remove and paint to finish the exterior.
Suspension is fully Tein coil overs, with front and rear strut braces while underneath the car has brace bars fitted. I have replaced both the rear 'dog bone' control arms with genuine Mitsubishi item and have replaced both rear wheel bearings.
The engine bay is in great condition, with no cut and shut pipes or wiring, the only actions are a HKS air filter, HKS full exhaust system, alloy radiator (famous JDM race brand) and a electronic HKS boost controller, the control unit is build into the ashtray to hide it from view. Starts on the button, very quiet and pulls cleanly, with the gearbox etc is perfect working order.
The interior is in great condition with the only wear being the usual but only slight side bolster sagging, no rips, tears or worn patches, the rear seats look hardly used. I have removed the stereo unit and replaced it with a cargo panel containing 3 x Greddy gauges.
MoT has 10 months left and no advisories
Loads of history.
There are only about 50 of these left on the DVLA and only 25 on the road, these are destined to rocket in value, they are even being mentioned in classic car mags and programs. I took it to the Brooklands breakfast club where it received a lot of attention.
Only selling due to have 3 Alfas and work simply won't give me the time o use all of them!
Find a performance car with this much power, handling and future asset value for this price!
