About a year ago me and two work colleges set out to build a rear engine dune buggy using an MR2 as a doner car. we bought this one with a blown head gasket but couldn't come to break it apart as its actually a really good car. weve done the head gasket, cambelt and a few other repairs necessary but eventually lost interest as its not quite as exciting as the initial dune buggy plan.
its been sitting dormant for a while and would only need a few minor repairs to pass an mot, a landa sensor and an anti roll bar I believe. would make a good track day car.
The picture is from when we first collected the car. since then we have painted the wheels and spoiler gloss black to a professional standard. and given it a general clean.
were now looking to sell it, but may be tempted with a swap with something interesting or retro.
