quick story, i bought this car with the intentions of using it everyday, but its just not fast enough for me, its currently on me mum and dads drive, and they're not overly keen on older cars, so sadly shes going to have to go.I'm not desperate to get rid, so i wont let it go for pennies, but at the same time, id be happy to see it go to someone who's gonna give her a nice new home,anyway.
good points-
start of with some positives! shes a very clean shell, there's a few tiny bits of bubbling, but overall underneath shes in a very good state, this is one of the reasons why i got involved with it in the first place.
engine and box are spot on, no clunks, no smoke (as you would expect of a car with 83k tbh)
interior is very clean, drivers seats good, back seats near mint, one door card has a slight rip (ps rear) has tasteful aftermarket cd headunit fitted.
2 brand new front tires, brand new ball joints, i also fitted a fuel pump because the previous one had a few moments where it needed a "tap" to work. has had a clutch pedal cylinder within the past 6 months as-well.
has alarm and immobilizer fitted
bad points-
main issue is the diff, its very poorly, it whines terribly from 20mph upwards. i have a diff in much better condition with the car, and i fully intend to fit it, but doing it on the drive on my back with a slipped disk at the moment isnt going to happen,however if someone is interested in the car, i will get it fitted.
could benefit from tracking, the front wheels were balanced when i got the tires fitted, but it does wander abit at higher speeds.
has a few dints, ds rear valance has a "kerb to high" scrape, this is probably the worst of the marks.
drivers window (electric) can be abit sticky, ive got it all back on the runners and its been ok since but on cold days its something I'm careful with.
overall shes a nice bus, and just wants a few bits doing to make her a minter.
