Time for me to do the daftest thing ever, LIFT a mk3 transit
I keep getting my mrs pregnant so i keep needing bigger motors, but it needs to be different
The mk3 lwb transit is...(as far as i can work out) leaf sprung all round,
I used to own a few leaf sprung hilux's and they were all lifted to a varying degree
My question is this.........
Am i right in thinking its going to be the same ammount of work to lift a transit as it is a hilux?
New springs, new shackles, longer brake lines, extend steering tube and finish up the other little odd jobs
I want to run proper tyres ( 35/12.5 R15) like i used to, its only going to be a street bus, the most mud it will see is at a bootfair so i don't need a transit county
Just rwd will be fine, i can always stick the winch from my spares box for a laugh
Who knows.... With the new mad max film coming out, i might have a bit of fun with the styling as i go
