My Noble M12

Coming together slowly , more painting and new lights up today !

So finally after 9 months I get chance to take the Noble out for a blast , it’s been a long winter and lots have been done !!
As we poodle of down the road the car feels unhappy , the engine is a bit flat feeling , the gearbox feels clunky and stiff , for some reason my drivers seat feels uncomfortable!!
I try and settle in but the car is curse word off , I can feel it ! She is annoyed at being caged up for the winter !!
I chuckle to myself we all no what’s it’s like to have a unhappy lady 😂😂
We trundle along at 50mph , the traffic is light but because of all the heat management it takes a while to get the temps up , the new Trofeo Tyres feel rubbish and leaning on the brake pedal causes one of the front to lock !! A reminder that if I’m silly she will bite !!
Gradually things start to feel a bit more happy and I head for a bit of dual carridgeway so I can open her up , I’m at low boost (450bhp) so expect the rears to hold but as soon as I squeeze the Loud down pedal the rears spin up , lovely cool air and cold Tyres is a recipe for disaster .
A few more roundabouts and the Tyres are warming , I run toe in on the front to heat the front Tyres up and they start to bite a bit better , the understear I had is disappearing so I push on , again the rears spin up in 3rd so I ease off the throttle.
Patience needed , I lean on the Tyres a bit more and start to push , things are feeling better , the gearbox is shifting nicer and I can feel the engine is loosening up .
Another roundabout another squirt in 3 rd gear , better this time , shift into 4th and I lean on the throttle this time there is a boost misfire but I know to keep my foot in !! She is clearing her throat .
The repacked exhaust is much quieter but the wastegates chatter and complain as the bleed off the boost , hard on the brakes into a roundabout and this time things feel great , pick up the throttle early and I’m suddenly in the boost as I come around the roundabout , feed it in hard and the car just grips , flat in 3rd the shift lights flash at 7750 rpm and I bang her into 4 th again flat , this time no wheel spin ! In what seems like only a second the shifts lights are flashing again so into 5th and foot flat to the floor .............. curse word this feels fast .................. 😎😎😎
My heart rate is racing so I lean hard on the brake pedal and come down to normal speeds , blimey that felt fast , all of a sudden the seat feels perfect , the gearchange is lovely and the engine feels happy again in fact the car feels happy .
As we trundle home we pull up to a set of traffic lights on the dual caridgeway and a very nice M3 pulls up along side , I wonder if he is ready for a play ...........
The lights turn amber and we both nail it , the Noble lights up the rears in first and second so he gets a cars length on us , third is a different story and we grab it back into 4th and he starts to disappear in the Mirror , this time the engine pulls cleanly and we stretch our lead , into 5th and he is looking very small in the mirror , I lift off and brake down to normal speeds again , he pulls up alongside and gives me the thumbs up , another scalp 😂
I pull into the garage and sit quietly, the engine is idling lovely the Noble is happy again ............ now where is my list of track days 😎😎😎😎

Well a quick update on project Man Cave , my amazing wife has virtually hand painted the whole garage !!
New cupboards up ect , still got the floor to sort but it’s getting there 😎😎

So something different , been working on my work Vito for the past year , so far it’s had a new front grill , new rear tailgate spoiler and a remapp to 250bhp and 500ftlb torque .
Well today was new wheel day !! Who does not love a set of shiny 20” rims 😎😎
I think it looks cool . Dawns recons I’m a saddo 😂😂😂

Wow - what a car! A paint sprayer I know had a blue one and he scared the bejeesus out of me in it on some back roads one afternoon. 😂

Some good photo’s coming out from brands , still not sure I like the lightness of the front end at speed !!
