Wow! That thing really doesn't hang around! Nice bit of flame out the exhausts too. What system are you using for the recording? Looking at the G readings you were certainly working at it.

Looks like max lateral G was 1.6 !! No wonder my neck hurts 😂😂 If I attempted that in the Scimitar (imagining for a moment that it was able too) I fear the body would separate from the chassis and merrily sail on straight ahead as the chassis twists round the bend.

Amazing car and a great read. I'm glad I took the time to catch up!
I've always loved the M12, it's just so different and mad.
Hope you get a proper shot at the TA title this year Simon, you've earned it.

Thanks , unfortunately I think this seasons championship will be destroyed in July when I go in for a Kidney transplant !! Looks like my amazing wife is a match and has 100% kidney function so things are coming together for a body part swap session at the end of July !! Function is down to 8% so it's getting a bit desperate 😩😩

Hi Mr Tux, I just joined RR to read your thread - my friend Phil Heindel is competing in Club 2wd, and through him on Instagram (my handle is Wingfield_Brothers) and the speedhunters article I came across your car. I've just read start to finish... What an absolutely great tale, really pleased you had a strong weekend at Cadwell, and even greater news on your upcoming transplant from your truly amazing wife!
I'm up at 6am, was hoping to be asleep 90 mins ago but it's been time well spent!

The personal battles you're getting through, and the things like your kidney donating wife is what sets this story apart. If I was a bit more girly I'd have wiped a tear from my eyes at parts of it, but seeing as I'm a well 'ard gruff mechanic, obviously that didn't happen... Lol.
Keep it up!!

Thanks for the support but don't you lot start going soft on me 😂😂😂 at some stage I'm going to need a kick up the !!! Nobody knows what there future holds but when I was diagnosed at 25 I new I would have to do everything I wanted to do in a hurry ! Thankfully my amazing wife and son have been totally on board and no matter what I suggested they went along with it , we have done some amazing curse word together 😂😂😂 This Blog is the only record of what me and my Noble have been through and no matter what happens to me the story will be here for everybody to see for that I'm very grateful and honoured . For now me and the Noble are getting ready for Snetterton on the 4th June , fingers crossed 🤞 Tux .

Love reading about your journey with the noble. My mates brother met up with you the other week to purchase your old rear clam after a slight mishap with his original one

So just under a week until round 2 of Time Attack and things are looking ok , done a few jobs on the Noble including some lateral wing supports as the wing was flexing from side to side , bit of re-wiring on the alternator and just some odds and ends . Couple hundred miles on the engine and it feels sweet , front brakes are tired so rebuilt them , will do the rears after Snetterton . On a personal note had a weeks holiday which I needed so am feeling in good spirits 😎 Also after 4 years of saving we have hung up our tent and bought a motorhome , will be used at race meeting and weekends away etc . , best lap time for the 200 circuit is 1.20 so it will be interesting too see if I can get any faster with the new setup 😎 Also had a mate do a new poster print which looks awesome 😎😎 If anybody is going to Snetterton please call in and say hello , fingers crossed for a good event !!
