I found a couple of extra pics of that superb silver 2 door that Rmad posted a while ago. I want it. How clean is that engine bay! I looked through www.bilsport.ch and found nothing on it, these pics came of a volvo forum.

Absolutely stunning.
I wonder what gearbox he used? Were those 5-cyl engines used in any RWD volvos from the factory?

That is stunningly cool, especially considering it is a Volvo!!!! Retro-tech engineering at its finest! Any idea how it goes? Certainly different from the usual kind of similar theme here... a departure from FJ and SR20 powered Datto's thats for sure!
You guys are bastards as well.... your whole "steel wheels" thing has rubbed off on me, now my mates look at me funny when I say "ohh yeah, but steel wheels can be kinda cool!"

Absolutely stunning. I wonder what gearbox he used? Were those 5-cyl engines used in any RWD volvos from the factory? Gearbox will most likely be a Volvo M90 five speed manual. Five cylinder "white" engines weren't put in RWD cars, but the six cylinder ones were (960, S/V90). It's a modular engine family so lots of bits are interchangeable, so no bellhousing problems etc. A twin turbo B6294T from an S80 T6 can fit nicely into the front of an early 240... Phil
