Firstly, mods if this is in the wrong section my appologies, please move to correct one  As title says chaps I`m after some ideas for my mainly 1:43 scale cars. I really dig the all glass look with acrylics but I have seen a few glass fronted with wooden frames. Mirrors also look the nuts as a back plate/board, are any available in perspex? Also, ideas on lighting too, low voltage ideally. I`m kinda hoping for some inspiration so please post yours up.... Cheers |

This one is sort of what I had in mind but would paint wooden frame white and put a mirror in as a backboard. It's got a hardboard back to keep everything square(ish). Uses 'L' shape plastic trim on sides and 'U' shapes top and bottom, deeper at top so you can lift out the glass. If I was doing it again I'd make it a bit deeper. |
