Ford P100 F Reg

NO ENGINE, GEARBOX OR HEADLIGHTS BUT EVERYTHING ELSE
I’ve got three P100’s (as well as nine other pre 90’s ‘projects’) and need to sell a few so I can concentrate on the ones I want to keep.
I was going to strip this F reg, but it’s too good to remove the bits I want and scrap it.
All it needs is another engine and box, and a bit of bodywork. I was driving it a few weeks ago, and it is still taxed till the end of the month, but no MOT.
I have had it for over two years and it drove well. It had a few advisories on the last mot. The worst was a tiny 50p size hole on the passenger’s foot well, (not important as it is a chassis vehicle, and the very front cross member needs a plate welded on. (This is why the bumper is a bit loose)
The back axle was quiet, as were the bearings. I fitted a new steering rack last year, and discovered that some cock has rounded the front wheel nuts. Not a huge job, but I’m trying to list all the faults I know about it.
Another cock tried to get into the car one night (don’t you just wish that you could catch them doing that…
) and although it still works, the door lock is now fiddly. It will unlock but wont lock. The passenger lock has never worked.
It has a much nicer dash than my other pickups. Just like a diesel saloon. The seats are good, but need a good clean. The glass is a nice green tint, not seen this glass on pickups before, but there is a small crack in bottom of passengers corner.
Chassis is rock solid. Body work is fair. Doors, wings and bonnet are good. Driver’s wing has easy filled dent. The rear tub is strait but has a few areas to repair. Tailgate is dented. Inside rear of tub was painted in a protective paint that has kept it from too much rot.
Looks like it has had heavy duty sprigs fitted shortly before I got it.
Three tyres are great, one goes flat.
I want £300 for it, which I think is a very good price compared to similar on eBay, but it needs to go as soon as possible.
I’m offering it here as I hope she will go to someone who will do it up, rather than stripping it out. Sadly I’ll have to put it on eBay in a few days if there are no takers, where I’m sure it will be stripped by buyer. If you want to see it, I'll drag it out the garage for you.
