![]()   Peugeot 405 turbo diesel estate, 121k miles, mote'd until December. Runs, drives but recently starting to cut out intermittently. it's a fueling issue. Replaced glows, fuel stop solenoid, filters. can't spend any more time on it. Rough car but great load carrier and workhorse. Hello, potentially interested in this tank! How often does it cut out? And does it fire back up after? As I'm based in York and couldn't afford to get it recovered! Love the car though, is it the 1.9 XUD engine?

Fabulous xud turbo diesel.
Almost certain that the fuel line has hole in it as fuel is not reaching primer plunger.

Would it be possible for you to plumb the injection pump and grenade into a jerry can and see if the engine runs off that? We would have to rig up a basic setup just to get it home is all. Very interested in this beast though!

Yeah, going to try that when I get time at weekend. If it works I will lash up a new line from tank to pump. Need to get a reel of fuel line.
