  ![]()    Vauxhall Chevette saloon, 1983, 1256cc, manual, RWD, 36,000 genuine miles. Garaged and unused for 13 years until recently. Mote'd until May. Runs and drives well. Comes with masses of spares to keep it roadworthy. Never welded and unusually solid. Poor paint, ideally needs a re-spray. rear light stays on sometimes (Poor earth somewhere.) How many previous owners please, and what paperwork do you have to warrant the miles? Any advisory notes on the last MOT?

where are spots of rust?
how big are they?
any paperwork to prove mileage/works completed?

Thick folder of info with this car, previous mots which warrants the mileage. Off the road and kept Sorned From 2003 to 2014 in a garage. Previous owner from me got car in 1996.
Surface rust sports mainly on front vallance. No welding that I can find. Car is SOLID.
Paint lets it down, needs a re-spray ideally.
Will post some more pics at weekend.
Open to offers.

What's it like rust wise round the headlights? My first car was one back in 87/and rusted there and wings. Vaux sent me a recall letter AFTER I wrote it off saying it was to do with the sealent. They were fitting clips to them in the recall
