ahh tbh he sort of had it coming though really, if he could just stick to reviewing motors he'd be fine, top gear wouldn't be the same though

I wonder why they aren't showing Sunday's episode? Sounded good as well...
Much as Clarkson makes me laugh, he doesn't do himself any favours.

Because they film the studio bits during the week so the show won't be completed. Lets face it, they're not going to do Top Gear without him and if they do everyone will moan it's not the same so it'll either mean he returns after a suitable amount of time or does a Jonathan Ross and just goes to another channel and does the same show under a different name.

JC's no fool, the other channels will be fighting over his signature. Channel 4's usually the one for re-homing bad boys, they made a success of Richard Bacon when the Beeb viewed him as highly toxic.

He's been suspended - not sacked. That means a fair chance he'll be back after a few weeks suspension. After all BBC allowed Russell Brand and Jonathan Ross to return to work after a far worse "offence". If TG isn't a live program then why can't they edit or bleep anything inappropriate ?

He's on a final warning after last years racial stuff. Sory but JC is an overpaid Bell End, you'd think after all these years he'd know how to behave himself. Get Harry Metcalf or Chris Harris on Top Gear, maybe then i'll watch it.

Just seen it on the news, I hope all this is significant and they get someone else in and change the format a bit. Ive watched the odd episode latley but i don't go out of my way to watch it, too predictable for too long and clarkson, authough occasionaly funny, is a twit who seems to revel in getting peoples backs up, either that or i just don't get his sence of humor. No show is dependent on its presenters, either of them could easily be replaced.

I thought i heard before that he wasnt "employed" by the bbc at all. Thought he was an employee of his company, and then makes topgear and sells it to the bbc, cant remember his company tho.
Either way, It might be a not so subtle way of the bbc getting rid of top gear, Although its one of their best rated shows, Its a petrol head heaven, when they want to be perceived as being green.
I'm definatly in the camp of - he had it coming ... I Used to be a bit of a supporter of his, in a sort of hes an old school type of guy, But now he's getting on my tits too.

He sold his stake in the recording company for some ridiculous £8million offer to BBC Worldwide. He's not had a hand in that side of things for years now.
To be honest, it will be better without him. He knows nothing but the "crib" sheet for the vehicle he's reviewing/driving at that moment.

He knows nothing but the "crib" sheet for the vehicle he's reviewing/driving at that moment. I reccomend you read any of his books, He's not a silly guy when it comes to cars. He plays a fool when it comes to the mechanics of things , getting James to explain it etc, But its just a part.. Hes pretty damn knowledgable about motors. Hes grown up with it.
