Montana black cans are almost half that in price and there is plenty In the smaller cans to not worry about buying a huge tin like that. I can't say I've used kobra, so couldn't comment on its coverage, ect mind. Its proportional , its 200ml bigger . It does cover very well , i sprayed a huge relief that had been scratched up , and it covered it all , even the chips and scrtaches evenly .

What kind of finish can you get with Graf paint? My Golf has been been touched up by Stevie wonder in the past, also needs a new wing and boot lid and it could be a good (cheap) way to make it look a bit better. Would like this colour:

There are a few different options with Montana that I've come across while researching. Found some in Australia, hooray! There are your flat mattes, which is what I'll be using, there are also glosses and I believe a few satin finishes. They also have ,matte satin and gloss varnishes as well in case you can't get the right combo in one can. There is a reasonable selection of metallics as well and you should be able to get that kind of brushed aluminium look I think. Not so sure about metal flake, though. www.montana-cans.com/products/Cans/Montana_BLACK/Montana_BLACK_400ml/20(there's a button down the bottom that shows the full range of colours. The metallics are in a different series of the cans as well)

But I'd still want twice as much for twice the price it does cover well though, that seems to be regardless of brand. The Montana Black range has such a high paint content it takes some practice to get it right if that makes sense.

Ill have to check my Monza thread to see how many cans I used. It wasnt many, but then I was going blue over blue. Hardcore had a harder time of it on the rekord. Maybe because of the fairly unique paint situation on that car

I've just painted the entire side of a Suzuki Vitara with 1 can including the inner wing and around the rear light.

Daaaamn, shorty? No really, short wheelbase? Because I'd be surprised with that much coverage on a long wheel base. Although I'd think that'd be stretching the paint pretty thin even on a short one. Same colour? I think I'm going to go with 9 white 1 blue and 2 green. I think that should get me there just, and the shops here seem to sell in dozens. Need to get this done and post up some pics, haha. Just installed my new Focal speakers last night so paint and new wheels is all that's left to go on the daily.

Its a SWB convertible. That was going over it twice, one dust coat then a full coat. It looks dusty as youre spraying but dries even.
