My Toledo has been awoken from its Winter slumbers and now it needs taxing... It's been MOT'd and it's fully insured but it just needs that final bit of 'legality' adding to it so I can use it... It needs tax!
However I don't have a tax reminder as it has been on SORN and I'll be buggered if I can find my logbook which I know will be in the most obvious place ever!!!
I need to get the old but taxed up pronto as it needs to be used for an event in the next 7 days so what can I do...?!
Can I tax the car without my V5?
Can I contact the DVLA and plead with them to give me a reminder code to use online or will they give me my V5 code over the telephone if I beg them...?!
What can I do...?!
I just know there won't be a simple answer nor a quick fix as it's never easy is it?!
