Up for sale is a 1 owner 1984 Opel Manta GTE with a genuine 49000 miles. it has been garaged all its life and hasn't moved for 9 years. The owner took the car for an MOT in 2006, it passed he then drove it home and put it in the garage. it has stayed there until now. I have given it some fresh fuel , new plugs and plug leads and it started. it will however require a bit of a tune up. this may be due to there still being some stale fuel in the system, but it does start and drive. the interior is immaculate with very little wear and no cracks on the dashboard. I gave the car a wash and a polish which brought the paint up nicely. the car is by no means mint but as you can see from the pictures it is very original, straight and tidy.
it will only need a little work to get it through the next MOT. it requires a couple of holes welding in the floor, and there is a little hole in the centre exhaust box. the brakes work fine although the disks are a little rusty but should clean up fine. the tyres are remarkably good considering how long it has stood. I am not an MOT tester and these are just observations.

I would love to keep the Manta but unfortunately I have far too many projects and not enough room for them all. come and have a look at this time warp of a car. where else are you going to find a low mileage, 1 owner GTE in this condition at this money. any questions just ask.
