Been having major oil leaks
Well when i say this week i really mean yesterday, if you went to Stonor you may have seen my bug abandoned a five minute walk down the road from the show. Leaking it's dirty juices on someones white gravel driveway stones ;D
Lucky really because on the way i had it off the clock on the M25 so if it had gone then it could have been a lot worse.
It was one of my oil pipes coming from the pump had split so it sprayed everywhere, while sitting in the Q to get in, shame the numpty behind me didn't inform me of the mahoosive puddles of oil i was leaving!
Anyway, walked to the show bought some oil reattached repaired hose, was fine, until 15 minutes from home and it bl**dy did it again. Luckily i'd purchased enough oil so another botched repair got me home.
Ruined the matte effect of my paint mind.
Sadly it's not the first time it happened.
Last time it was on the M3 while overtaking a truck.
Suddenly, hhmm it smells hot, look at oil pressure gauge and nowt, engine off and coast to hard shoulder.
The moral of that story being if your mates work on your car always check their work after.
Because it always helps if you do up the jubilee clips!
Again no damage, so these bug motors have got to be quite strong at least.
Last time.
