1986 mk2 golf GL AUTO.
ENGINE:
1.8 auto with roughly 74k miles (this won't rise as it isn't a daily)
The engine is very strong and pulls so well! It has never once let me down and surprisingly very good on fuel! The kick down is very responsive and works instantly. The engine itself is as it was from factory but very well maintained with regular services!
SUSPENSION:
It's running on JOM coilovers which actually gives it a really good ride even though it is very low! All components are copper greased so they all move easily and freely! I have a fully 2 way paddle air kit I can include for an extra price
INTERIOR:
The inside is completely stock but has been ran with seat covers on almost it's entire life so there are no rips or wear marks it is literally like new! It has the blue dash board to match the rest of the car with the chrome trim around each dial which I am told is quite rare, again in fantastic condition! The only thing that has been changed is it has been given a simple head unit with after market speakers hidden under the rear parcel shelf so they can not been seen.
EXTERIOR:
The whole car apart from the roof and bonnet has had a respray by the guys at JH Pro Paint (Jon the guy who owns it built the rad beige mk1 r32!) the paint is like glass it looks fantastic. The plastic trim down the side has been deleted. They got rid of every dent and every bit of rust to make it perfect! They also rolled all four arches but left the bottom 2inch either side unrolled so from certain angles look stock! I sourced an 80's decal with "GL" on it so it matches the actual model of mk2.
WHEELS:
The wheels are 15x7 Porsche teledials but the rears have a different et so they have a small dish and give the look of them being staggered! With them still being 7's it means you can still tuck them right up but maintain the staggered look! Rears have 30mm adapter just to push it out a little and 25mm front. The front break pads have been changed 30 miles ago and the rear wheels bearings have been changed the same time!
Because the car is the GL model is has central locking, electric windows and an immobiliser
It's a fantastic car that's in perfect condition! It will be amazing rolling as it is or a few small changes can really make this someone's own.
Will come with a fresh 12 month MOT.
