That's the same car, and the seller is in Aberdeen according to his location tag.
Also - that has a facelift (post '97) front grille; and the 328i Sport did not come into production until 1996 and was not fitted as standard with an LSD. It is NOT an "msport" as this moniker did not exist at that time. The "genuine M3 wheels" feature cheapo aftermarket centre caps and the rear wheel has neither the correct lip depth nor offset - seriously doubt that paintjob on genuine wheels as well.
They are a nice car but this at the higher end of their value so certainly there would need to be a bit more care put into the advert...

Agree with suprisingskoda with needing more details to really sell it well, that's definatly a facelift grill so shouldn't be a '95. But..... There are sports with an lsd before traction control came in on them, I've had both a pre facelift and an early facelift with lsd and they were sport on the logbook. Show some interior pics, black headlining is a dead giveaway

This is a 1995 msport with a lsd no traction control and black headling etc and they are genuine wheels just the way they are painted which isnt best tbh

Out of curiosity, this also has red/orange rear lights. Didn't all Sports come with red/clear rears ? I've had 3 and all had red/clear rears.

Busted what ? Would you like me to put a picture up of the v5 ? The orginal bill of sale ? All of which i have so yeah grill and lights may of been changed but doesnt deter that it is a genuine sport with what ive stated it has wheels ive already said ive put on I'm standing by what i know regardless of your petty curse word as its my car i have everything to back up what ive put so go take your curse word elsewhere

Hahaha busted! Clearly this guy's a chancer. Hasnt even got a clue about 'msport'. Wrong wheels, wrong grille, wrong rear lights, no lsd, you can stick your plate value up your ... lies lies lies. That is an absolutely terrible advert might I add. What pond did you crawl out of? No need to be quite so rude or cocky. The car comes up as a 'RED BMW 328I SPORT' on a search. I know very little about E36s, or indeed what a particular dealer put on the paperwork when registering a specific car so maybe 'Sport' does mean 'MSport', although that's certainly not what it says. Rudeness of certain posters aside, there appears to be a wealth of knowledge here helping you decipher the origins of the car and I reckon you'd be better off learning as much as you can rather than sticking with a potentially misleading ad and being accused of ripping anyone off. Good luck with the sale, and keep it civil please people. :-)

If you put the last 7 digits of the VIN number into RealOEM it'll give you a detailed run-down of the spec of the car.

From the images shown, this is a pre-facelift with facelift front grilles. A giveaway is the pre-facelift side repeaters as they contain the large black plastic backing (facelifts had similar side repeaters to that of the E46 where the lens covers the whole unit).
If the V5 states it is a "Sport" then this is a legitimate E36 Sport, however back in the E36 era this meant M-Tech (as the M-Sport phrase was coined for the E38/E39/E46 era and onwards). M-Tech basically meant bumpers and skirts akin to an M3, and this odes indeed show them in both images. Also, the M-Tech or "Sport" variants had slats in the lower front bumper grille as opposed to the M3 mesh.
The rest of the car points towards an M-Tech or "Sport" with the black headlining and genuine BBS Sport split-rims on the second picture. However, it has had a few things changed over time, and as we know it hasn't lived its whole life in Wales.
Just my 2 cents to help anyone as I have a fairly extensive knowledge on these after owning 3 E36's over the years.
