VW Golf MK2 16v GTI 1989, I bought the car as a project and intended to strip it out, and have it as a track day/fast road car but lack of funds and rising insurance costs means I have to sell it.

Adjustable coilovers
Full Miltek exhaust system, including header
Aluminium race radiator
Black diamond stage 1 clutch (recently fitted)
Borbet A alloys, with virtually band new tyres, with 20mm spacers on the rear
Deep dish suede steering wheel
Fully polybushed
Recently fitted discs and pads (front and rear)
Just replaced the gear linkage kit
Cross-hair front headlights
Paintwork isn't great, bonnet and both front wings would do with a respray. Very little rust, only cosmetic. Incredibly solid car for its age.
The car runs and idles perfect, but smokes a bit once it gets into the higher RPM's, but still goes like a pocket rocket. I suspect the valve stem seals are going. The powering steering seems quite heavy, possibly the working properly, or just rubbish in comparison to modern cars?
