Hi all,
I've signed up here because I've heard its a good place to look for a workshop share
I've not had a project for along time now, and I want to get back into it, but need somewhere to work on what ever it turns out to be!
I can also bring my experience as a sprayer with over 10 years main dealer experience to the table and I have a good collection of tools, welder, engine crane ect ect...
I've been wanting to make my own air compressor and blast pot for ages as well, and could get around to that at last
If anyone would be interested in looking for a place, or even if there's some room spare in a share?
I went and looked at a railway arch the other day for £70 a week, a little steep for one person but with two or three people, could work well. They were very flexible with the space and offered to organize shipping contains and would allow the building of a wooden structure around the containers, it was in a secure yard right near the city center, £100pcm would be alrite!
Cheers for reading, and hello to everyone on here

I'm from Wigan and would be interested in sharing a unit but Manchester is a little far. Maybe we could meet in the middle if something comes up?

Alrite guys,
I've found a rather interesting space...
£70 per week, so that's £280pcm, start splitting that 2 or 3 ways and for what it is, its very cheap indeed.
There's enough room for 6 cars, maybe one or two more.
For the space it's very cheap! The best bit however is where it is, it's right on top of princess park way, in withington, no where near the hassle of the centre and right on the main road. It's also right next to a tram stop. Its not far from stretford either at all...
It's cheap however because it's a yard that needs developing. The landlord however is happy for me to develop it into a workshop.
With afew £100 spent on it to get setup, it's a very neat deal
Would anyone be interested in that?
It would be about the same price as renting the unit mentioned above to start with, but then ounce it's setup, would only be £280 per month.
There is already cover there, but it needs securing and bringing up to scratch.
It needs clearing, and then the building there is made from a heffty wooden frame. With afew weekends spent on it, it would make a very neat workshop.
It's not as straight forward as four brick walls and a shutter, but I have done something similar to this in the past. I used to get my power from a veg oil driven generator, for water I then had two big water holding tanks and a beefy pump. In the long run it would work out very cheap, but if anyone's like me, I rather like the idea of building the space as well, but the price is where it's at. I have been to view those units before in Salford, and the only reason I did'nt get one was the price, so if someones up for sharing one I would go with that if its more suitable.

We might be able to make a Unit available in North Manchester for very good rates.
Huge space that would fit 30 cars if packed in. £350 a month. And It could be shared.
