Anyone at Tatton Park on Sunday? Brilliant day lots of nice cars and no rain. I was there, it was excellent. Now I have a head like a fuggin beef tomato.
I took a shedload of pics - people, tents, grass, pottery figurines, the fuggin works. Oh and loads of cars of course. I am gonna post them up and do a full report on my findings, probably tomorrow.

Criminal i missed this, i won't plan silly celebration, next year when this is on, quality show on doorstep!   there was one later in the year last year, classic show and the stars and stripes american show no longer clashes with retro show pod which is good as they are both very good.  |

Yay! I was there on the Sat afternoon as well. No Amazon bits  I bought some license plates (finally got a Colorado plate that I've wanted for years) , stewed like a prune and recorded some idling for RRR. (There will eventually be a engine archive \ database thing) Except I had the pad on my electret turned off, and no headphones for playback, so all I got was a load of distortion  Learnt my lesson, will take earphones for playback next time! If anyone's interested, I had an SD1 idling, and then revving, then a 20V Quattro. And there's also a snippet at the end of Rob Dickinson's 'Intelligent People' that might be worth MCPS'ing...... Anyone see the look on the DBS\ V8 owner's face when the chopper fell on it? Poor bloke! What worries me about the Tatton Car show is that it's expensive, and that every year there's more and more tat on stalls that isn't car related at all. If I wanted a pile of curse word slippers and colouring in pads I'd go to Bury Market. Anyway, my pics aren't up to much, but here we go..... Anyone see the very slammed Morris J2 van?  Anyone a Starflyer 59 fan?     Seriously nice 711E twink for sale  I had the watch for years until the 'Watch Hospital' did a curse word poor job on the face and it fell to bits  |
