Again, as posted on VZi... Oh no, ScrapingScrap just bought something that someone else built. Oh the shame, the shame! Sure you'll understand though as it was only £50, and he owed me that anyway, so effectively a free car with 8 months MOT and tax exempt too. It'll do as a hack for a while (although it's actually completely rot free) - my m.d. offered me £400 for it today. Hmmm, decisions decisions... Nah, comedy nail... Think I'll hang on to it for a while.

£50?! A bloody steal that is! I've always thought the P6 could make a great custom car! Top purchase!!

Proper Cool!
My old man had one of those before I were born... a White v8 Auto... he still regrets selling it! (people used to confuse him with police cars and get out of the way!.... ;D)

I like that...although some lowering is definitely required! And some flaps - whitewall flaps that is!

Hey ScrapinScrap, that's a cool car Difficult to lower as there isn't much ground clearance (I used to have a V8). A friend of mine had a lovely one that was lowered a bit. No passengers allowed! It banged the tarmac if anyone travelled in the back. I'd keep it too. Don't sell without asking me!

I have to say that I wasn't sure if I liked it or not at first, but looking at the pictures again I think it's pretty cool! *sigh* such a shame we sold our P6 V8... (on the left)

Oh oops, I think I sold it... My m.d. offered me £400 for it yesterday, and a mate in my Lowrider club has said that he will match that whilst promising not to 'restore' it, so I guess he wins. Will hang on to it for a few weeks though - comedy nail. To answer a few questions.. Nope, only a 2 litre manual, but at least that means 30mpg on the motorway - a pleasent change fromt he 12mpg I get out of the Benz! It'll go down a bit as it still goes over the speed bumps in my estate, although I might leave it to the new owner, as that front suspension is... well, it goes the wrong way As for the pinstriping... It looks a lot better in these photos - it was Andys first attempt at striping, so there are a few mistakes. At least it's symmetrical though! Better than I could ever do...

Yeah the suspension is a bit bizarre innit?! If you / the new owner of the P6 needs any bits for it, my brother has stacks - body panels (got a V8 front valance and a load of other wings and stuff), engine bits (2000 or 2200).... and if you want anything off the P6 that's sat at the side of my place just let me know and I'll pull it off before it's towed

... the only injury I sustained was a bumped head when I let the seatbelt of without realizing the car was upside down and that's not really the car's fault.
