Evening people. Being the wheel guru's that you are, I'm after some bad boy rims to put on an E30. Luckily, Porsche (5-stud conversion) and VW can go on so it shouldn't be too hard to slip some ideas to me! Euro is the only way, so deep dish-a-plenty please! I love Schmidt TH-Line 3s, but have they been done too many times? Banded steels would be cool, as would a set of Porka rims, but obviously, they are going to be of a larger diameter and lacking in dishage - something the E30 doesn't blend well with, or can I be proved wrong? I've got visions, but need some guidance... let it be totally off-the-wall. Dare to be different and all that! Ronal Turbs look the business, but I've seen them too many times... A sample from german-wheels...

There was a guy selling some Ronal Turbos at Stonor Park this weekend, at £325 for the set.
I was very tempted to buy them for my E10 (BMW 1602), but at 15", they would be a very tight fit, considering my standard wheels are 13"
I'm not sure what would fit really....

Ronal R10's are a classic and one of my fav ever wheels, but on a 3-series I reckon, BBS RS rims are a winner...... or if your going to use a stud convertor, teledial rims IMO would look the dogs if they were polished up (plus 15" ones are really cheap us they came on loads of 924/944, 16" ones command a heavy premium) cgi.ebay.co.uk/15-porsche-teledial-alloys-with-tyres_W0QQitemZ320121252515£80 on ebay, next to no time left and not in bad nick. Get 'em on ;D

Thanks for the replies. The dish on that (iS?) looks very good indeed. Borbet's are they? I wonder what wheels from the VW camp would look good? Decisions, decisions...

Pog, have you got those soup bowls on there without scraping / wobbling / rubbing etc now? Yeah. Got it pretty much sorted now. Get the occasional unpleasant sound if the boot is full and the car is full of passengers and the ground is very uneven, but other than that KAPOW! 5mm spacers were 'teh win' to clear the calipers, and two new tyres (£63 fitted, balanced & tracked LOL) got rid of the 'orrid noise and the wobble
