Is there anywhere to check the dates when this was completed?
I have had a speeding ticket there saying I've run out of time now to do the speed awareness course because the penalty notice went to an old adress first. I thought I had updated my details with the DVLA when I first moved in so wanted to double check?
Any advice would be gratefully received

You can make a statutory declaration in court (takes 10 minutes) to declare under oath that you were unaware of the orignial letter due to it being posted to an old address, and this will 'reset' the timeframe, then you will be eligible for the orignial terms.
But you will need a excuse that will stand up in court, forgetting to change address doesn't count IIRC..

We have stat dec's in England? That the first time I've ever heard of them over here! Slacker you kept proof of posting to the DVLA didn't you?

The offence was on the 19th of October.
Got the letter on about 4 weeks ago. But at the same time I had sent my licence off for renewal. Anyways I sent the form off on the 11th to try and get the speeding course. Received a letter in the 12th saying I have to take points and fine, phoned up yesterday and they said I have run out of time!!
Yes I have receipt for when I posted it back.
And I phoned DVLA yesterday and I haven't changed my address so my bad there.
