Ok,
Having read a couple of other forums, and even the UK Pajero Owners Club, and the information is conflicting from one post to another.
The final outcome however, will depend how additional circuits are wired such as;
Front Fogs - New circuit, as the OEM position isn't technically legal in the UK. On when dipped beam is on.
Rear Fogs - This can be daisy chained from the above circuit. On when dipped beam is on.
Front spots - Independent circuit, so I suppose this could be wired either way.
There are other circuits I have in mind, but for the time being they can be completely independent and unnecessary at the moment. The main ones to think about at the moment would be getting the front and rear fog lights wired up, so they can only be switched on when the dipped beam is on.
Currently, and it seems the norm, that when the switch for the front centre fogs, or spots as they should be in the UK, is turned on, it illuminates the centre spots, side light circuit and dash lights.
Now, I had thought about running a wire from the rear light cluster back up to the dash, as I need to put at least one cable down to power the rear fogs, and using this to power a switch for a relay. Although, these are probably negatively switched.
So, any ideas?
