I bought this because I knew it was going to end up sitting for years and never make it back on to the road. To be perfectly honest, it's not really my cup of tea but I decided to re-commission it and move it on. Ideal for anyone wanting something simple to work on and they now seem to be cool, especially in this fetching shade of terracotta brown and "contrasting" beige interior. Groovy.
Since I bought it I have done the following :
Service - plugs, rotor arm, distributor cap, air filter, oil filter and oil change. New battery New wiper blades 13" RS 7 spokes with 185/60 tyres. Not new but all good tyres. Original 4.5" steel wheels will come with the car as well.
The car has been off the road for a number of years and stored either in a covered car port or, previously, in a dry garage. The pictures show the condition of the car as well as possible. There are a few scuffs, a little dent on the bonnet and surface rust in the areas shown.
The interior is fresh and doesn't smell of smoke or dogs or damp. Quite a nice place to be to be fair. The 1.1 Valencia engine pulls nicely and doesn't make any disconcerting noises at all. OK, you are really going to have to make an effort if you want to upset speed cameras but that's not the point of this car. Nice.
I am in no way responsible for the aftermarket back box on the car but it doesn't look TOO offensive and doesn't make the car sound stupid either so it's staying.
The car will have a new years MOT when it is sold. Currently at the testing station and due to be tested on Monday. Don't expect any problems but and advisories or failures will be shown to the buyer.
Give me a bell on 07866 378011 or PM me and I will get back to you.
Car is located in Long Stratton, just a few miles south of Norwich. A Fine City.

This is excellent value for money! I've been back using my X reg 1.3 Ghia as a daily now my mates borrowing the Volvo and my dad's borrowing the Jag and it's a cracking cheap little runabout.
Can I suggest you also advertise on some of the Facebook selling pages? My mate advertised his on there and it went within a few hours.

Any advisory notes with the MOT at all?
How many previous owners, and what paperwork does it come with; old MOT`s/service book/invoices?
Cheers.

Hi, according to the logbook there have been 5 previous keepers. I expect that this means I am the 6th and the new owner will become the 7th owner.
There is a history file in the car that I will photograph when I get it back and I have the original blue V5 as well as a number of years worth of SORN notifications.
I will also check out the MOT advisories and get back to you on that.

MOT Refusal and MOT Certificate shown below. I have checked the cost of front shock. Less than £45 for a pair and it's only an advisory. I expect the amount of WD40 I threw around the place may have had an input to that but, nevertheless, it is on the paperwork as an advisory. I didn't photograph the other paperwork but will get that tomorrow if required.

Now back from the MOT station and ready to roll. Has the original Tricentrol rust proofing documents with it so that probably explains why it is so solid. That and the fact that it has been off the road for years in a dry garage. Will add more pics tomorrow if anyone needs them.

To be honest, no, sorry. However, if you are in Norwich it may be time well spent if you want to view this car. You won't be disappointed. Thanks.
