Absolutely gutted about this but I have no choice and have to sell up.
It's a 1982 Chevrolet camaro, 4 speed MANUAL. 305 v8 with only 50k miles ( can't remember actual mileage bang on )
I bought this car off a elderly gentleman who had owned the car for many years. He was in love with the car and didn't ever want to sell it, but had not long had a hip operation and his misses was nagging him to sell it as he couldn't get in it and drive it anymore. A mate told me it was for sale and I just had to have it.
I got it home and started looking over it etc.. The car is lovely runs smooth and quiet, no knocks bangs nothing.
Under the car it's solid little but of surface rust but that's it very solid car.
I fully serviced the car, new oil! new oil filter! new plugs etc.. Lovely silent engine.
I cleaned the whole engine bay and degreased it as it was quite dirty. I then discovered the car was originally a charcoal grey colour.the paint job on it now is nice it's a nice colour there's not loads this colour.
Moving on to the engine, it's got 50k miles, no proof of genuine mileage, but just listening to the engine you can make your own mind up, it definitely sounds like. 50k engine.
It's a small block Chevy, 305ci sounds lovely a right beasty sound.
It has;
600cfm Holley carburettor
Edelbrock performer intake manifold
5 inch air filter
Edelbrock low profile air filter plate
Holley/Chevrolet retro rocker covers
Interior is in good condition small tear on drivers seat, and the boot carpet was knackered so it had to go also the boot plastics have been scuffed quite a lot and could do with a little tidy up.
The body is totally rust free no rot no bubbles nothing, arches are amazing really nice to see it has been well looked after. YOU WONT FIND ONE IN MANUAL THIS MINT AND ROT FREE WITH SUCH LOW MILEAGE!!
It has GLASS T TOPS all weather stripping is great no leaks or nothing, glass isn't scratched or cracked.
I HAVE A FIBREGLASS COWL INDUCTION HOOD ALSO
THE SINGLE SKIN FIBREGLASS COWL INDUCTION HOOD CAN BE SOLD AT EXTRA COST..the original factory fibreglass hood is currently fitted .
The car isn't mot'd, and no tax either due to new stupid rules.
I've been getting this car up to scratch slowly as I have a small budget due to a young family, I never got round to getting it legally on the road so still needs tax and test also need a new rear box as the old one had a big hole in it and needed replacing so I took it off and never got round to replacing it.
Doesn't have any history unfortunately the previous owner had misplaced it apparently so it wasn't a big deal to me.
I'm LOOKING FOR SOMETHING CLOSE TO £5250, IF IT GETS CLOSE TO THAT PRICE I WILL SORT OUT THE REAR BOX AND PUT 12 MONTHS MOT ON HER
I'm sure I've forgotten loads of stuff, if I remember anything I will Add.
